Yesterday I got an alert on my dashboard that one tire was low. Very annoying! So I added air in hopes that it was just a fluke. No such luck.
This morning I got in the car and sure enough, low tire alert again. So off to the Tire store. I picked up some kind of sharp metal but it was small and they were able to fix the tire. So the good news is I didn't need another tire and it didn't happen while we were driving from CT. Next on the agenda was a conference call with Xfinity and our landlord. I had asked him to sign up for DVR service so we could record programs and skip the commercials, but there was not option on the menu for recordings so he suggested a call to Comcast. Much to my surprise we connected to a real person right away and determined his box was not a DVR box and we just needed to switch out the boxes and they made an appointment for me to go get the box an hour later. Plugged everything in and it worked. No follow up call to activate etc. I had a 1:00 meeting with my contractor, Mike, at the Coral Cove house. He had a couple of questions about light placements and I had a lot of thins to review with him. We sorted everything out and we are happy with the progress and hopefully will be ready of us to move in at the end of November. I will post some pictures of the progress on the Reno Page soon. A visit to the Post Office was next on the list trying to track down a package that was supposed to be deliver the day before and the tracking said it was being held at the PO. Of course they couldn't locate the package and took my number and promised to call. So I went off to Target for some household items. Around 5:00 I get an amazon alert that the package had been delivered, so we went back to our Coral Cove house and sure enough, it was in the mail box!
