Getting started
During Covid isolation I began watching Paint Pouring videos on FB and YouTube. I was intrigued with the unpredictable results depending on paint consistency, density, color combinations and techniques. I put a set of 48 4oz bottles on my Christmas list. But it took some time to get up the courage to give it a try. I also ordered a few bottles of premixed paint from one of the people I followed called Mixed Media Girl. I also shopped a lot on Amazon and the Dollar store for canvas, canvas boards, bottles, and cups and stirers, on and on.... Then I got up the courage to start and was hooked.
Then one day I went to Restore to donate some stuff and walked around the store and found a treasure trove of paints. Some were dried out and they are not top of the line but a bargain all the same. And so I began to dabble on tiles and progressed to Canvas's. And love the process and trying different colors and techniques.
Some of them I love. Some I am not so sure about. When My grandsons visited, they did some that came out great, and my daughter CJ did some when she visited.
